Could somebody help me please, I am running Windows XP with IE 8 and when I logged on this morning my Google toolbar has disappeared, there is just a X in the left hand corner where it used to be, how can I get it back please.

Right click your Mouse near the 'X' and a list of Toolbar options should appear. Tick Google one and it should come back.

Thanks redman41 have just tried that and what happens is a square appears with
"Menu bar - Favorites bar - Compatabillity view button - Google toolbar - Customise"
they all have a tick beside them but when I click on it all it says is do you want to disable this add on?
Make sure there's a Tick next to Google Toolbar and against 'Lock the Toolbars' as well. If no joy maybe restarting PC might bring it back.

Yes there is a tick beside them all so will now try a restart - will post the outcome soon.

Sorted it now thanks, the only way I could do it was to do a system restore to an earlier time.
All's well that ends well as they say sprayer !!!
