I want to use the RECOVER facility on my PC (Windows XP) and have backed up everything on my internal hard drive to an external hard drive. When I have finished the Recovery, copying back my files and folders to the internal hard drive seems straightforward, but how do I put back the programs?

When I click on a program on the external drive and then FILE and SEND TO, the list of possible destinations does not contain my internal hard drive, Drive C:. So how do I do it, please?

You need to install them again from the original disks or install file if it's downloadable from the internet.

You can not backup and restore programs the way you are trying to.

I advise to try Hetman Data Recovery Pack. The interface simple + with the step-by-step master of restoration for the analysis, search and saving of remote files. Process of scanning of a disk and creation of the list of remote files and folders will take seconds. After that, you will see directly your files. The friendly interface for the user and rich functionality of a product will meet the need your needs. After the analysis in the left part the program will display the folder list, being on the selected disk. Having selected the necessary folder at the left, you will be able to view its contents in the main part of the program. You can use the option "Search" to find the necessary file. The program allows to save regenerated files on CD or DVD-CARRIERS

Also here you can clear a re-recorded disk. At first you need to select the carrier for record from the list set on your DVD DRIVES CD / computer and at desire to clear a re-recorded disk.
Capabilities:
• Restores data from logical partitions FAT, VFAT, NTFS4, NTFS5 (restores encrypted files);
• Restores any file type: digital images, documents, archives, video and audio files (supports preview function for several file types);
