You have a fantastic stadium, why is it that you have no atmosphere there?

I took my son to Wednesdays game against Braga and the stadium was almost empty until kick off, then 10 minutes before half time people were leaving their seats to go and get a drink and didn`t return until 5 minutes into the second half, this was a Champions League game not a Carling Cup tie

As for the singing, you only had 2 songs that the whole stadium actually sang..."Stand up if you hate Tottenham" (which I remained seated) and "We`ve got Cesc Fabregas".. which you won`t be singing next season.

The Braga fans made more noise in a stadium with 60,000 home fans against their 1000 away fans even though they lost 6-0

And as we left 15 minutes before the end to avoid the rush we had to join the queue outside Arsenal tube station which was packed solid

Great stadium, good performance on the pitch, but support wise...PANTS!

Sounds about right. I suggest you take a trip 280 miles North and attend a Newcastle United home game (if you can get a ticket) - you'll not find a better atmosphere in the entire football league...

Really mamya - I thought that was the rave at yours last weekend ;o)
Markrae.....in case you hadn't noticed Newcastle are no longer in the Football League, they were promoted to the Premiership last autumn
They're still in the football league jl....
The Football League consists of The Championship, League One and League Two

The Premiership is a separate entity

http://en.wikipedia.o...i/The_Football_League
so if you're in the Premier league can you not play in the league cup?
Yes of course Premiership clubs play in the Carling Cup

But Premiership clubs are not classed as Football League clubs
weird............
Another weird thing is Swansea and Cardiff playing in the ENGLISH football League
I hadn't realised all this was going on.. amazing! Is cricket the same? or table tennis.
