it sounds to me like ur email has been hacked and the person knew ur answer to ur security question! they have then reset the password to the colour question. what can you do? basically nothing!! this happened to me before and my ex partner had hacked into it the same way. i asked hotmail if i could have it back but i had to prove 3000% it was mine to start with...... he gave it to me back in the end......
cant you just try putting in different colours on the password retrieve screen? it will only let you do it a few times in any one session but if you try every hour or so you might get lucky
good luck
''Have new PC and cant sign into hotmail.''

Is it only on your 'new PC' that you have the problem? Were you able to sign in ok on your previous machine?
On a new machine, wouldn't you have to re-register if you hadn't saved all your old stuff on a memory stick or something? Sorry - was trying to be helpful, but don't know much about this. : (
