In trying to delete some of the less useful fonts, found I've removed whatever Live & hotmail use to display the body of the message [an also on the tabs when you right click].
It's now displaying in a condensed courier type font. OK for some messages - I'm guessing these are ones sent as html?

Curiously, Messages I write/send seem unaffected. Any ideas where to check which font is used for normal messages. Thanks

I don't know .... but tahoma is used by a lot of system apps

(you did of course backup the fonts becore you deleted them?)
