Can anyone explain to someone technologically quite slow how Torrent files work and what I have to do to download these and import them as MP3s into iTunes so I can play them on my iPod? Thank you.

For mp3s, you want to download them as above, then you'll get the mp3s and can just drag them into iTunes' window.

(Note that this is most likely illegal. It's better to buy CDs.)
