about food shortages etc.
Certainly a frozen meat and fish shortage here in Stoke, but plenty of other stuff to eat.
A few empty freezers today but everything else is ok.
Can stuff etc. and no shortage of toilet rolls like the last round of scare-mongering.

Had so many FB news feeds today, that one would wonder if we lived in apocalyptic times....
The fact was that there was an abundance of food, not much of what we would might NORMALLY buy (ie, 'frozen') but a whole lot of other stuff (ie, fresh) that we might have to change our eating habits....
And buy fresh stuff....
Shortage in pet food, plants, seeds, cereals, frozen foods, vegetarian foods and so much more
I got my Tesco shop delivered yesterday without a single substitute.
Brexit just kicking in. ? it had to happen.
Tonic water seems to be in fluctuating and short supply. I asked and the supermarket staff said that it was because people were buying a lot more of it - gin has become a fashionable 'thing'.
Problems with fresh herb supplies suggest we could be heading for end thymes.
No empty shelves in E/U Countries.
The only "shortage" I noticed yesterday in Sainsbury's was bottled / flavoured water. I assume due to hot weather more than anything else.
Asda seems to be short on cheese in the large sizes. Also I couldn't get Cravendale milk, and not been able to get steamed vegetable rice for about a month now. Turkey section looked a bit low too.
My supermarket delivery was complete. My butcher has plenty as does my greengrocer so all good for me
a few random and unusual shortages in Waitrose, but nothing life-threatening.
Bottled water and tonic water shortage in Lidl today too.
neat gin for you then, Caran?
There are low stocks across the board in our supermarkets, no flour, no pasta and limited fresh salad stuff.
We’re having to chase round for petrol here in East Norfolk. Partly due to the tourists needing to fill up after their long journeys and partly due to tanker driver shortages. If your short of drivers I dare say you drop the East Norfolk runs from the schedule!
