When I go onto google to make a search it gives a drop down menu of all previous searches,
It never used to do this so I'm guessing the settings have been changed. does anyone know how to change this as the lap top is used by other family members so also in need of privacy.

You can delete them
Think it is right click and delete. I do it all the time for Red Hot Dutch.
What browser are you using? Is this on your pc or some other device?
1. Click the Settings button on your Toolbar.(or the wrench/spanner icon)
2. Select Options from the drop-down menu.
3. Click the Search Box Settings button.
4. Deselect the 'Suggest popular searches' checkbox.
5. Click the OK button.

What browser are you using? Edge, Firefox, Chrome, something else?

I'm sorry to be so thick, but am I to go on the three dots on the right hand side - I see settings but no drop down menu with deselect on.

Do you have a book mark where you put your favourites? There is a clock symbol that indicate history. Just clear after each session but I do not know windows

I did Mamyalynne and I tried to follow it but I'm just to thick and stupid to grasp it.
Why don't you create your own personal log in page for it? Then you'll have all the privacy you need to look at porn. ;-)
