Tik Tok, A Poor Version Of Youtube Or What?

So is it, im cant really work out what its all about, I keep coming across Tik Tok vids which are generally speaking, just annoying.

don't panic ratter, it's not for the likes of us - it's for young people! you can safely ignore it
It's a bit like Radio 1.

It's not for you, and everyone who enjoys it will grow out of it.
I've seen videos of Tik Tok on YouTube. Never seemed up to much.
it's a young person's thing; they don't bother quite so much with FB and Twitter any more. If for some reason you need to keep up with the doings of young persons, you'd probably need to achieve fluency. Yes, you may find them annoying, but many find Twitter the same.
TikTok is great for the millions of pre-teens who use it (despite there officially being a minimum age of 13 to sign up), as well as for users in their early teens, as it allows them to play around with some basic video-editing techniques without having to cope with the steep learning curves of 'grown up' video-editing software.

However, just like Roblox and Minecraft (and short-lived crazes such as loom bands and fidget spinners), it tends to leave oldies like me (and many others here, I suspect) totally baffled!

Oh I see, well i'm trying to avoid it but it is getting everywhere!! its taking over!
I've seen a few clips o TV, how is it invading your life?
