Extended Keyboard Numbers

For years, I've been using a Logitech wireless keyboard with my Mac Mini, without problems.
Lately, on one or two websites, the figures on the extended part of the keyboard (the numeric pad on the right) haven't been working (for putting in passwords, etc). Ordinary figures work fine, and the numeric pad works fine when I'm, say, typing a note, but some websites don't seem to like the numeric pad.
Are the signals different from those transmitted by the ordinary number keys?
