Makes me glad I don't use Malwarebytes.

Not that I feel any more secure as a result.
An unfortunate drop off for them. Very embarrassing. But as stated in the article, they aren't the only well known name who's had security flaws. The number of flaws seems rather unprofessional of them though. Seems to have had a long standing blind spot. Strange it hasn't been noticed ages ago.
Not every security product catches every virus or piece of malware.

I notice the headline of that article says "Malwarebytes antivirus" when it is not an anti virus product at all.
