Cod Loin

I have a couple of cod loin pieces, would it be OK to wrap them in foil and cook them in the oven, which is what I normally do with salmon?

Absolutely. Add anything. Well maybe not cocoa.
I would think so, I mostly cook fish in this way & have never had a problem
No reason why not, will you add any other flavourings?

Thank you both, thought it should be OK. It seems to cut down on the smell of fish(which I hate) doing it in the oven

Sorry Eccles crossed post. Thought I might add a dab of butter and a dash of lemon, and pepper. It's smoked so no salt.

I don't like the smell of fish particularly which is why I tend to do it in the oven
Drop of white wine,butter,thin slivers of garic with parsley doesn't go amiss en papilotte either. Nice jus :-) Bon apetite xxx

Oooh that sounds good Retro(chef) I've got an open bottle of white left over from my party so I'll give that a whirl xx
I think I'll try that myself Retrochef. Ta.
...although the French actually spell it "bon appetit"....not to mention "garlic"

Sounds delish Margo. I cook my salmon like this.

I often do it this way with whole sea bass or Bream. The smell when the parcels are opened at le table are fantastic.xx
