Problems with Facebook message.

On Facebook, I keep getting a little message coming up that asks me if I want to remove a script and then says “A script on this page is causing internet explorer to run slowly …” It states that should this script not be removed, my computer may become unresponsive. So, I always click it off, but how can I get rid of this message and the script permanently? Several people on FB have been experiencing this in the past few months and it is so annoying, as it also sometimes tends to freeze the page for a few minutes. I have run virus scanners, registry checks, disk cleanups, malware checks and nothing changes. I have also deleted all cookies, .tmp files, history etc. but to no avail. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks for any advice.
