now my s5 is going off itself, i notice it is very hot when charging even today i used another battery, still very hot. ..

well now its on the blink with a mind of its own.

im supposing get a new one and there is no easy solution or quick fix ?

i had this problem before ..it was the battery i bought a new one it fixed the problem ....maybe both batteries have had it ...

get a new battery, cheap on ebay £5 worth a punt

s5 is still a great phone m8, no need to upgrade, some people have to have the latest phones, but seriously they all do the same thing more or less.

If getting hot yet wasn't before, could be some kind of short in the mobile. Maybe something failed short circuit. If both batteries got the problem at the same time I'd suspect a new one is unlikely to fix the issue, but who knows. Meanwhile look out for a new handset at a decent price.
