I seem to be unable to burn a movie that I took with my Nikon camera that will play on our Panasonic TV. It plays back on the computer but not on a TV. What am I doing wrong?
Do I have to do anything extra to make it TV compatible. I have other disks that play on it that have been done by other people. Help.

I expect you are trying to play the recorded avi file.
You need to convert this to DVD format with conversion software.
The best around at the moment is ConvertXtoDVD.
Good free converters are from AVS software and DVDFlick.
You may take a look at this step by step guide, it's regarding how to convert and burn movie to DVD. I followed it and successfully burned DVD to play on my home DVD player, it's easy to understand, I think it deserves a try.
