In Excel (2007) how do you copy a cell without the formula changing i.e. formula in B6 is +B4 when B6 is copied to B7 it copies +B5 but I want to stay +B6 whenever its copied to, seem to remember it could be done in 123 but I can't find how to do it in Excel.

Thanks

Highlight the cell reference in the formula and press F4 - it will change to an absolute reference e.g.$B$6.

You probably need to change the formula to include the $.

That apart you can ago into the cell itself, copy the contents from fx box, move to the new cell and copy it directly innto thefx box. That'd probably work.
