I can't see any way to do what you require.

However right-clicking on any file and selecting 'Send to mail recipient' will launch your default email client, with a new mail already created with the file as an attachment.

Thanks Buenchico for your advice but when I klick on 'Send to mail recipient' I get no email prog associated to perform this action please install an email prog or if one is installed create an association
It sounds as if I have got to put in some sort of prog todo with BT as they are my isp and my mail comes and goes through them I just thought if the mail was ok that would be enough
This is a new pc and perhaps there was some sort of prog in the old one,I'll have to get in touch with BT '
Anyway thanks for your help and all the best
Alan
Which operating system have you got?
If it's a new PC, the chances are that it's Windows 7, which doesn't come with a built-in email client. You need to download and install Windows Live Mail:
http://explore.live.com/windows-live-mail

Then follow these instructions, from BT's support pages, which will tell you how to set up your account:
http://bt.custhelp.co...s/s_cid/con_FURL_help
(Don't worry that those instructions are for Windows Vista. They should still apply to your system)

Once you've done that, my 'right-click' method should then work.
