Hi All. My printer ( epson stylus photo RX 420) appears to have sprung a leak and is leaving large black ink blots on the bottom of pages lying in the in tray.It doesn't seem to affect the printing quality but obviously the black cartridge has a fault. My question is do I just need to replace the faulty cartridge and hope the spilled ink dries out ? Any help will be much appreciated. S.O.G

Was it an original cartridge you used? It's ceratinly worth swapping it first to see if that cures it and hopefully, the leak won't have damaged the printer.

Hi Squarebear. It was a compatible cartridge set that I used. I have used them before and had no problems. However I have sent for replacements and hope this will solve the problem. All the best to you. S.O.G
