can't delete emails

I cannot delete my e-mails on my outlook express, I click on delte and nothing happens, any help would be appreciated.

do you mean when you click on the delete button on the toolbar?

If so what happens if you highlight a mail and then press the delete key on the keyboard? if that works try resetting the toolbars by right clicking on a blank part of the toolbar area and selecting Customize > Reset

ive tried deleting on both the tool bar and the keyboard and nothing happens

the deleted items folder has probably got too large then (even if you empty it it does really empty until you compact the folders!)

Click file > folders > compact all folders
