Everything was working properly, I put my notebook PC in hibernate mode for about an hour and when I terned it back on I could not get on line because it had no network connection now.

From the start menue I then went to- Connect to. The PC could not find any wireless networks, however I know that there are many in range and my other PC whas connected to my privet network.

I then ran an autmated test to diagnose the wireless hardware. It tels me the radie is off. So I go to network adaptors to tern it on and see that its already on. I tern it off anyways and then back on. It still does not work. I remove the software and reinstalled it and got the same code-raido is not terned on.

Is it broken or is there something else I need to do??? Its just so strange to me that it was working fine and while in sleep mode it would break. Is there a nother way to tern the raideo on??? Why would it just tern off and stop working???

Just a hunch, but my wife had a similar problem last year.

There was a small button on the front (hardly noticeable) that turned the wireless off. There was an LED that went with it, illuminated when wireless was switched on. She's had the laptop a couple of years but we'd never noticed either until then!
