Flash Player often won't install properly if there's already a non-functioning version on your PC.

Go to Add/Remove Programs and uninstall any reference to Flash Player. (It will probably show up as 'Adobe Flash Player Plug-in'). Then reinstall Flash again.

Chris

(PS: If you're using Vista, Add/Remove Programs no longer exists. Instead, go to Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features. Click on the reference to Flash Player and then click Uninstall/Change)
I haven't yet updated my Adobe Flash Player as my older version seems to work very well at the moment.
I have had a report asking me if I want to update to the newer version.
I thought, what's the point, when the version I have now works fine.It hasn't failed me at all.
Do you think I should update Chris?
You are really amazing at helping people out with their computing problems.I salute you sir!!
There is nothing that Chris cannot fix.
(With apologies to Marcus5771)

Hi Imhotep.

I think that you must be mixing me up with ACtheTroll or ChuckFickens who (with one or two others) are the real 'techie' experts around here ;-)

I'm still using Window ME. (I bought a secondhand PC, for 15, with XP Pro on it the other day, but I've not set it up yet). That means that I'm forced to use the older versions of lots of things, because the newer versions aren't supported by by operating system. Despite that, I've never had any problems with displaying any site that uses Flash, Java, or whatever. My maxim is "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!" ;-)

Chris
That is a very wise saying there Chris.
If it ain't broke don't fix it!!

Oh yes,I forgot about ChuckFickens. He did help me the other night on a small niggly problem.
I didn't know that ACtheTroll was another techie expert.
It's great to have some experts like you lot to help others in distress and need of assistance...

Hello Ive tried to attempt it but it still not working I will try another day. Thank you for all your help.
Pardon me also marcus, as I think Chris underestimates his ability, as he has helped me and other s quite frequently.
Hi again, Marcus.

Try using System Restore, to take your PC's registry back to a date when Flash Player worked.

Chris

Check about Internet Explorer settings. May be there is blocking of video play option.
> Open the Internet Explorer
> Tools
> Internet Option
> Go to Advanced Tab
> Scroll down and check the box of "play videos in web pages"
> Now press Apply and OK.
