I am trying to view something by streaming it through Windows Media Player, however it says the following: "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because the specified protocol is not supported" I don't get it, because when I go to WMP Tools, then Options, then Network, UDP is checked, though it does ask which ports to receive data from. Can someone help!?

Have you installed all the codecs that may be required to view a streamed media file? There are quite a few, try DIVX in google
