In all my previous Windows OS's, I've been able to add a shortcut to Windows Explorer to the desktop. I can't seem to find a way to do it in Vista. Also, I can't even find a start menu entry for Windows Explorer in the start menu itself.

I can't remember exactly how I did this in XP Pro, but I'd like to be able to open a window showing the files in the left hand pane and the folders they contain in the right hand pane.

Many thanks.
