MSN Problem

Got a problem with my MSN. The programme works normally until about 7 o'clock at night [could just be a coincidence] and then it says that I'm still signed in [tab on my internet explorer window]. Yet when I click on the icon to open the programme, it won't start up. It won't let me speak to anybody, and closes any chat windows I have open.

It's really bugging me, got no idea what's going on. Anybody help me?
