Assuming you don't have one of those "Net MDs" that have a USB lead, then you'll need to buy a 3.5" - 3.5" Male - Male lead that will plug in to the headphone socket of your MD player and the Line in (or microphone) socket on your sound card (or motherboard's built in soundcard)

From there, standard audio recording software should allow you to record the music, save it as either a wav or mp3, and your CD burning application should be able to burn the resulting files
spheric is right in how to connect the equipment. The software that you need can be found here:-

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

(the one that most recommend, but the interface and instructions might seem a bit daunting).

Try this one:-
