my win patrol keeps coming up with a new start up programme is wanting verification to be added to my start up menu. i keep clicking no as it has no information as to what it is. even though i click no another box comes up saying it is in my main start up and do i really want to terminate it. so i click no again. another 5 minutes later it all happens again
any ideas?

I'm no expert on Vista, however that sounds like some program running as your account is trying to install itself - this sounds as if it may be a trojan or virus, therefore the first thing I would do is disconnect from the internet and perform a full system scan.

if you do not have an antivirus program, search for avast - its free, you do register for 14 months, however when it expires you just register again and off you go.
What is the program name?
