hello all i need some help from all you experts !! i have windows xp home edition.i am trying to connect a mouse and a game controller .i keep getting asked for the cd rom "hidusb.sys" i dont know what this is . is there anyway or where i can simply download this so the mouse will work.many thanks all

Hi 'dave the fish' ........forget the game controller for the moment ....just connect the mouse ....whether it is 'cable connected or 'wireless' it should operate without the need for other software. I would think that the need for cd is related to the game controller.

hi zinnie.thanks for answering.yes im not that bothered about the game controller and have 3 mouses.pluggin them in it says hardware found ie a mouse then it says hidusb.sys file missing and the mouse wont work.im stuck !!!
