Now this isnt funny, this is the second Sunday in 3 weeks that i have been stood up!!! oh yeah, even the train stood me up last Sunday, i nearly forgot about that!

week before last i was due to go out with my mate and she fell asleep and finally text me at 9pm to say she wasn't coming out now and now tonight i was meant to be going out with friends at 5pm for a few beers and she has just text me to say her son has turned up with his girlfriend so won't be going out now!!! (mind you, i'm secretly chuffed cause im still thawing out from this morning) :-)

some of the dates Ive had recently - I wish I had been stood up lol
Been stood up by friends a couple of times, never for no reason, but it is frustrating!

However, now I am a bit older (22!) I wouldn't mind being stood up, as I love a night in! x

lol weeal!!!!
I've never been stood up on a date with a man thank the lord. Mind you, there's a first time for everything !
Oh weeal! Bless you, wishful thinking hey!

See, CB wouldn't stand us up! x
ive given up lol
try not to take it personally hun - life gets busy and i'm sure they didn't mean to stand you up!

(though the train saga may have me wondering if the entire cosmos is plotting against you!) :-)
No weeal,
Don't give up.
I am constantly trying every day to find the right one for you out there.
Trust me.
lol at evedawn :) x
Jules - there's a purpose for everything happening. Count those disappointments as blessings in disguise. xx
lol Cruella, really hon? awwww
O ive got years on all you lot -lol

I hate when my pals stand me up -even although its just a 'gonna come up on wed -deffo -get the craic' -I get organised and they dont phone and im bloody sure I aint gonna phone them.

I do however bring it up immediately I meet them face to face.

Thats what gets me Jules -sometimes -like you I cant be arsed but I still do it -its irritating but good as well -lol

How contrary am I -OK no need to answer -lol
Yes, I never go back on my word.
We may all be in homes by then but who cares.

figure, to be honest, both times i have been relieved lol I hate cold nights, would rather curl up indoors and keep warm, still, its always good to see friends.
I think its just Sundays that are against me evedawn, im always ok every other day of the week lol
I don't even get the opportunity to get stood up! Lol
Jules, it's a bloody disgrace that is, is it the same one?
You know what I would do? I'd arrange to meet her on a night when you really don't want to, then stand HER up. I know you won't do that because you are sweet and delicious, but I bloody would!

I've nearly eaten all the ferrero rocher you know :(

This random guy from facebook has just asked if I wanted to go for a drink tomorrow night - he even said he'd drive over from Leeds! Is that a bit desperate or has he just seen my pic on MSN and thought I was easy or something?
(sorry that last bit was for you only Jules, you may have a vague idea of what I'm on about!)

hey Dris, i know exactly what you mean! Thing that annoys me is how late they always are letting me know. It was a foregone conclusion anyway by this time!

no hellie, different one this time! lol I really didnt want to go out though so im not fussed.
Is it a bit desperate? Not sure to be honest. Is he handsome and rich??? ;-)
Dunno about rich hun but he works as a mental health nurse, should that tell me something??
He's just asked me if I think he's cute - who on earth says that sort of thing to people? I would never ask someone that!!!!!
you could go out by yourself. you never know you might meet someone really nice, and worth all the disappointments, unrulyjulie.
One of my mates is always late. I cooked a roast one Sunday and told her to come round at 4. She didn't turn up till 6!!!
