Recycling a scanner and printer .

Hope this is right section , we have just bought a 3 in one so have a scanner and printer which are working and too good to bin , Computers for Charity won't take them , so any idea if there is a charity that takes them ?? Thanks .

Charities probably won't be interested because the costs of testing them as required by law will be greater than the value of the goods.

You could try eBay or freecycle

Also the cost of replacement inks is often greater than the cost of a new printer.

I bought a cheap Epson ink jet in Tescos the other day for about �38, but it is very noisy.

When the ink runs out I will probably replace it with a different printer rather than buy news inks.

Like it or not we are in the era of disposable printers.
