I have a desktop PC which I don't use very often (4 yrs old) and when I went to switch it on the other day, nothing happened. The monitor comes on but the tower part doesn't, the on/off button doesn't light up at all.

I am going to switch the power leads and try the one currently to the monitor which obviously works but if it isn't that, does anyone know if its a big problem? Is it easily / cheaply fixable?

Hi Cheeky
if you have power to the PC then it is the power unit thats gone - PC World 20, 10 minutes and its fixed. The power unit is the bit that your power lead fits into. Don't know how much you know so don't want granny to suck etc. If the thought of changing the power unit is too much come back and we can chat...
