composite Video/audio input on PC

When video signal connected to the composite video input on my computer i cant find it through any programs on my pc (yet the ports were installed when pc purchased)

Why do I get this on-screen message when I turn my PC on?

Not sure what you are asking here - but the composite video socket is much more likely to be an OUTPUT from your video adaptor, then an INPUT!
