On my computer my memory keeps going down mega fast can someone help

I have not even downloaded anything ive scanned my pc and i have no viruses and over the past few days i have lost 10gb of memory why is this?
Can someine help?

If you are using windows then a possible cause is that you have copied a file into itself, my mom did this and the file just kept replicating itself ad infinitum.
You could try a system restore that might help, or attempt to find the files being copied that may or may not exist!

I think you have lost 10gig of hard drive space, not memory!!

You don't lose 10 gig of memory (RAM), you haven't even got 10 gig of memory to lose!!
