i want to convert a powerpoint presentation so a format so i can stream it on UTube. so far i've tried videoscope and Camtasia...please please is there a simple solution?

You could use OpenOffice (free, and opens powerpoint slides), to open the slideshow and export as a .swf flash file. Then use another free program to go from .swf to .avi, such as this one:
