My file sharing program Limewire cannot access java runtime and asks me to download a version from the Java website. When I try this a pop up box asks me to delete the existing runtime files, using the add/remove programs in control panel. When i try this I get a fatal error message and uninstall stops. I have removed all traces of Java runtime that I can find using Start..Explore and also Start. All programs but still no go. How can I remove this program?

I wouldnt download through Limewire if I was you. Go to Start, Control Panel and Add/Remove Programs. Click on any Java in there to remove. Then download the latest version from http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp.
When youve done that you might wont to run an anti-virus and an anti-malware scan.

it won't remove from there
Try downloading CCleaner from here.
http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
On the right where it says download latest version.
When installed go to Tools and see if there are any entries to Java in there.
P.S If you dont know the Registry dont use the Issues option.
