My laptop works fine but when i try to connect to the internet wirelessly i cant. This is because my wireless LAN connection indicator has a red cross on it and i cant enable or disable it. There is no buttons on my laptop either so what do i do.

My lan button is a small led light at the very front of my laptop, by the latch key. You can see it when the laptop is closed.
It needs to be clicked very firmly to activate it - and a message comes onscreen - Wireless LAN enabled.
Are you sure you don't have such a button?
