My son has idiotically tried to send a grand total of 72 songs on one e-mail from my outlook express, needless to say, my comp is now running very slow and i cant send any e-mails or recieve as far as i know.. I can open O.E and get into the inbox but when i click on the outbox to try and stop the mail, it says not responding and thats that! Is there any other way i can cancel this mail???? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My sons life may well depend on it!

Try unplugging your internet connection
Close Outlook Express

Use Start > Search to locate outbox.dbx

Right-click on outbox.dbx and select 'delete'.

Re-start your PC and launch Outlook Express. Your system will recognise that the Outbox is missing and automatically create a new (empty) outbox.

Try ctrl, alt, delete all at the same time and then click end process.
Of course you need to highlight the program you want to stop. Then end process.
