I have a new Nokia 6103 mobile, bluetooth enabled, also a bluetooth 'dongle' to plug into the computer, which I understand is supposed to do away with the need for a cable. So far I haven't discovered how to transfer photos from the Nokia to the computer so that I can view them on the PC screen. Can anyone help please?

You should have a disc with your bluetooth dongle. Set it up, then click on your bluetooth icon on your pc (you will have to name your comp summat). Click scan for devices(make sure your bluetooth is on on your phone) and it sohuld pick your phone up. You can scan the stuff in your phone. When you put your disc in,and set your dongle up, it should have created some bluetooth files(inbox/outbox, etc). Your stuff will be in there.

Thank you MrBen5 I'm sure you have pointed me in the right direction but sorry to say I can't quite make the final step. The dongle is in place; disc installed with no problem; passkey enabled; PC recognises the Nokia 6102; discovery turned 'on'; mobile bluetooth turn on; file transfer wizard searches but hasn't found anything. There are three 'ports' I must explore and rather complicated troubleshooting advice. I haven't found any bluetooth files (in box/outbox). No doubt I'll get there in the end. Thanks anyway.
When it scans for devices have you tried both ways? use your fone to scan for your pc too. When you put your disc in to set it up originally , it should be in :-
Start-My Documents- Bluetooth
You only need to set the disc up once. The files will only appear in the inbox/outbox if you have transferred anything. Also, if you look at anything in your fone (pictures) they will show up in your temporary internet files folder.

No problem transferring pics from PC to phone, but only once has it transferred a pic from phone to PC - more by chance than design and I don't know how it happened! Mobile only seems to want to send things to a phone number. Seems there might be a compatibility problem so I'll be going back to the shop where I bought it and see what they can do. Thanks for your help.
when u send from phone to pc in ur documents u should have a bluetooth folder ur pics should be in there.

Thank you for your answer bigbus. Sorry to say I've rather given up on this one. I've not yet found a bluetooth folder, though have looked on many occasions. I think it might be something to do with my mobile not being GPRS enabled. It's only use is for phone calls and text messages. I can take photo's but cannot use or send them anywhere, nor can I send emails or access the web. o2 tells me the Nokia 6103 is not one of their range, they have not tested it for GPRS and do not support it. The only reason I am with o2 is because I have a credit balance with them from a previous phone. Once that is used up I shall have to make a fresh start somewhere. Thanks again.
