my sky telephone connection interfers with my sons internet connection. he also has sky in his bedroom.

I'm assuming that you have broadband. Have you got an ADSL filter in place where ever you have a telephone plugged in? If not, that would give you this problem.

That would also include any sky digiboxes that have a telephone connection to them
