Shutting Down

Hi, I'm currently on the www (as you've probably guessed) but when I try to exit the page by clicking on the x in the top right corner of the screen, it won't shut down the page. I can only switch links by clicking on my favourites.

So how do I shut down my computer and resolve this without having to click on ctrol/alt/delete?

Last night, my laptop was going beserk when I was using itunes, and ended up crashing, I'm assuming it has something to do with that.

Can anybody help me?

If you press ALT+F4 it should shut down the page I think.
