I have been told that if you paint a solution of Potassium Permanganate onto black mould (on interior walls) will kill the mopuld. Is this trued and is the practice dangerous?

It can kill the fungus if the potassium is of high concentration. As long as you are not going to eat the mould or you do not feel sorry for the mould then it is safe
