At the minute we have two pcs networked by cables. Our lad shares our network connection and we just have a normal router which our pc plugs into.

I have just got a laptop and we are going to buy a wireless router so i can get on the net with it. The other two pcs will still be connected in the same way and the laptop connected wirelessly. What I need to know is- once my laptop is set up to the router and i go online do I need to install the tiscali disk onto it to access the internet or do I just access through the internet explorer icon on the desktop? I am worried that if I dont go through tiscali then we will be charged seperately for the time i spend on the internet. Sorry its such a daft question but as I have said before my knowledge of pc's is worse than basic. Thanks :)

The router should be set up with your tiscali details. So the router logs in, not the individual computers. The router then shares the connection out to your computers.

So, no. You don't need to install any Tiscali stuff on your new laptop.
