Two things spring to mind, one trivial and one serious:
1. If the doors remain shut how do other "law abiding" shoppers get in? Have they thought of a way to prevent "tailgating?"
2. How does it deal with the large number of people who are either exempt or have a "reasonable excuse" for not wearing a face covering?
Those in the second category are not "difficult customers." They are people who the legislators have recognised cannot or should not wear a face covering. They are breaking no law. Contrarily, if these shops insist on treating those people in a discriminatory manner they may well find themselves on the wrong end of a disability discrimination action. Still, I suppose they've thought of that. Or perhaps not.

I am exempt from wearing a mask because of breathing problems, but on occasions when I have had to take a taxi or have had to mix with others I have worn one for the shortest possible time. And when I have had to enter or leave a hospital they insist a mask is worn. In my case it is quite uncomfortable for the first 5 or 10 mins then my breathing settles a bit and I tell myself this is only for short distance .
What about the obnoxous twit like the one a saw yesterday who had a mask under his chin but told everyone in the supermarket it was all a fake virus and we were all sheep so he was happy to shout in are faces and put us at risk. The shop did nothing. He said we's should watch the pandemic uTube film and see why his right.

The underlying problem as I see it is the introduction of face recognition to enable a service. Whilst masks may not be a problem it has potential to be a downward spiral.
Still looks like most people have no problems with it.

You really do seem to have the most appalling misfortune. A few days ago you spoke about people shouting and spitting in each other’s faces in pubs (which I assume you had witnessed). And now you encounter “the nutter in the supermarket". What rotten luck.

I was embroiled in a q rage "argument" last week
