"The Covid-19 drive-through testing site at Tipner West, off the M275, was due to be closed on October 5 so it could be converted back to a lorry park in preparation for Brexit but the site was removed last night.

According to the GMB Union, key workers turned up on Thursday morning for tests to find the site empty.

Deputy Leader of the Portsmouth City Council, Councillor Steve Pitt told The News that the council were not informed by the Department of Health about the early move."

Well done Boris, must get the Brexit oven ready for Portsmouth's lorry queues.

errgghh I hope not - I go to Portsmouth reasonably regularly and I don't want to sit on the m275 all day
quite right.
You can't beat working together, and keeping everyone up to speed.
More lies and misinformation from the usual source.

""The Covid-19 testing centre in the Tipner Lorry Park, near Tipner Lane, was closed due to fatal crash with a car coming off the M275 northbound on Wednesday, and reopened later in the day yesterday.

A spokesman from the Department of Health and Social Care said: ‘Following a traffic accident in the area, the drive-through coronavirus testing facility at Tipner Lorry Park in Portsmouth was closed.

‘A mobile testing unit was designated in Midhurst but was unable to open due to the site being occupied by non-testing vehicles.

‘Those who attended were directed to the next closest site.""
The fatal crash with a car coming off the M275 northbound was in mid July.

The Portsmouth News is the usual source? Who'd have thunked it?
//The Covid-19 drive-through testing site at Tipner West, off the M275, was due to be closed on October 5 so it could be converted back to a lorry park in preparation for Brexit.... So it was a lorry site before being converted ion April. The new testing site opened today at Southampton Airport as was intended all along when the more accessible site was ready. Perhaps the fatal accident speeded up the closure by a week. Does Boris make all the decisions? He must be busy.
The fatal accident was in July.

We've read the links.
15.50 ",Does Boris make all the decisions". NO Boris does not make any decisions , Dominic takes care of that.
