I have a new Canon MG3650 all in one. It scans to PDF but I can't see how to change the settings so that it scans to jpg. I have spent hours online looking! Anyone any ideas? Thanks.

If you choose colour in the colour mode settings does it then give you option for jpeg or pdf?
From the manual

//You cannot select JPEG/Exif when Color Mode is Black and White.
When Start OCR is selected in Application Settings, you cannot select PDF or PDF (Multiple Pages).//

Thanks both of you. I have eventually sorted it, I hope! I am never buying a Canon printer again - life is too short! I just hope that next time I want to scan something I can remember how.
Haha you will not be disappointed with the Canon though. I am on my second and will not even think about a different make. My Pixma MX 410 has been a good machine. It is located in a room away from both the router and the desktop laptop and surface pro and will even print from my phone when I am out. I tend to use good quality paper and Canon cartridges and, fingers crossed, have no trouble with it.
