Hi folks, having trouble with Yahoo this morning - is anyone else, or is it just me.... we can get Yahoo mail on all our devices (tablet, laptop, ipad) but it just doesn't seem to work on the desktop. I can open it up without a problem, but half the emails on my inbox (the oldest) can't be viewed, can't "tick" the boxes to delete or move or anything, can't use the calendar, can't reply to anything ..... When I suspected there was something amiss, I switched the machine off and then on again, and it did 36 updates. The odd thing is that we can use Yahoo on all our other devices, just not on the desktop. Would be grateful for a bit of help, please. Many thanks, cheers, Chox.
No, but that's a great suggestion, we usually use it in Chrome. We're installing a new cpu tomorrow, with all new software, so hopefully tomorrow it will have been sorted. But it's all very strange, given that it's working on all the other devices ...... thanks for the suggestion though, much appreciated.
We've just switched to Microsoft Edge as a browser, and Yahoo mail is working perfectly in that - and all the other stuff is working perfectly in Chrome. Very strange but as long as it's working one way or another, that's fine with me .....
Bizarrely, having switched to MS Edge for a browser (but only for email), Mr. Chox tried using Yahoo mail with Chrome last night (just on a whim) and Yahoo mail worked perfectly. So we've kept the Edge icon on the bar, but have gone back to using Chrome for Mail, as we do everything else. Very odd - nowt so queer as tech stuff!
