Hi, every time I sync my iPod from iTunes - i get a message saying Some of the items in the iTunes library including "song name" were not copied to the iPod "users iPod" because they could not be found. some of the items are podcasts, which I am not too bothered about, but invariably it is music I have loaded to iTunes from the artists original CD. Why does his happen or how can I stop this happening?

Have a look at this Tony......I had this happen some time ago transferring a play list from my laptop to my ipod for the car. Look for the exclamation mark that should be there next to the song title that cannot be located. I think I had two tracks from an Eagles album that would not sync. Weird I know but that is Apple for you.

Hi Togo - thanks for getting back to me again! I'm struggling with this - every time i follow the locate instruction it takes me to a folder on my laptop which has a selection of previous iTunes libraries - which if I open they just open as iTunes - btw Windows 10 user.
