Hi
Just obtained a 10" Lenovo laptop/tablet that has a micro SD card slot. It necessitates inserting a small pointed object (provided) to open the tiny tray onto which a micro SD card can be placed and then inserted. I have tried this with a couple of different cards but the laptop does not seem to recognise any of them. Nothing is showing up as a removable drive in File explorer. Can anybody advise please ?
Many thanks.

Are you sure it isn’t for a SIM card, I’ve never heard of an SD card ‘drawer’, they are normally spring loaded slots that you just push the card into
I agree with Fitzer that what you have is much more likely to be a SIM card tray.

Thanks for the quick replies. The "drawer" takes both a sim card and a micro sd card.
