As I live on my own and no-one else ever has access to my laptop I don't need a password every time I log on. Can anyone tell me how to remove this so that I am logged on as soon as I switch on? (Windows 10)

Thanks for replying but I need step-by-step written instructions. I can't cope with aural.
type 'password' into Search box, go to the first result, which should be Change Password, System.

From next window click 'Change', you will then get a prompt to enter your existing password, do so. Then you will be asked to provide a new password. Do not enter anything just click OK and Apply.

Restart your laptop, job done
