Having a lot of problems with laptop battery at the moment, well basically it's totally screwed. If I unplug laptop from mains although battery got 100% charge (apparently at least) and pop-up states it's got 2 1/2 hours use, it actually lasts for about 2-3 minutes!! Quite ridiculous.
Well, I use my laptop mostly on mains power which I know can cause problem with batteries but I always thought with the latest batteries this does not happen anymore, but apparently that's not correct as it is obviously ***.

Of course the irritating thing is, these days most computers come with battery internal and you can't detach it like in the old days and just replace it.
No doubt this is another ploy to make it more difficult for people and so we buy a new computer every couple of years-usual Con type behaviour from these companies.
So guess apart from buying a new computer not much else I can do, not an expert on computers, so don't know how difficult it is to remove the battery and replace it, if it's sealed inside a computer.
Or indeed if one can even get hold of another battery.

Bloody irritating how these companies behave it's the same with these earphone sockets, they got these new combination sockets so when I bought it couldn't use my normal earphones with separate microphone/earphone plugs and had to buy an adapter. seems anything to save a few pennies with these bloody companies. makes one damn mad.
