Time Is Ticking. How Do I Uninstall Windows 10?

I've been given 4 weeks from installation date to uninstall Windows 10. There's a recommended method posted by several YouTube users, but it's not working for me, even though it's a simple procedure. It all goes wrong when I get to the point where I'm supposed to click on the recovery button. What happens is, the recovery button doesn't highlight and the button doesn't respond to my clicks. The 'Windows Update' button remains highlighted

Is there anything I can do? I've got about 12 days remaining to put it right

Don't know if it is the same as Windows 7,but if it is then go into Control Panel. Click on Programmes & Features and at the top should be the word 'uninstall' cxlick on the programme you wish to unistall and then click on the word unistall

It didn't work for me either, I seem to be stuck with it :(
Two questions:

When did you do the upgrade?

Have you cleaned up your computer since then and deleted old files?
Have you still got the Windows.old file?

@jourdain2: Done, so be sure to read this:

I've did it!!! I clicked on the Cortana button on the bottom left of the screen. From what I remember, I was asked if I wanted to disable Cortana; I responded with a 'yes.' Then - if I remember correctly - I found myself with the option of clicking on the 'recovery' button. This time, it did highlight and it did respond to me clicking on it. After that, it was plain sailing. It went the same way as on the instructional video I've posted on here

@jourdain2: Have you still got your 'Windows Old' file? Have you got a 'Cortana' button on the bottom left of your screen?. If so, there's hope for you. Let me know how you get on
Jourdain2, did I not remember you posting a while back that you had bought a new computer?
If so you can't go back to W7 as W10 would have been built into it with no W7 to go back to. Unless you have W7 on an installation disk of course. But then you need to fully reformat your computer with W7.
